Where we start off as mum's and finish as women!
Fi's Fitness; I studied Certificate 3 & 4 in fitness at Australian Institute of Fitness.
I have always been into health and fitness and decided to make it my life. As a teenager I was part of my school's cross country team. I loved running! As I became an adult and mum, my asthma took control (smoking didn't help) and I lost my passion for running!
5 years ago when I decided my family was complete I decided to reclaim my body, and make it mine again, so I joined our local gym and met the most amazing personal trainer ever! She taught me so much and inspired me to reach my short and long term goals.
I realised I was a gym junky and loved working out, so I decided to join AIF and support others to reach their goals!
This year (2012) I have set myself goals to reach, they were...
- run 3km's = achieved 6/1/2012
- run 5km's = achieved 24/2/2012
- run 10km's = achieved 9/3/2012
- give up smoking = achieved 6/4/2012
- enrol into Australian Institute of Fitness = enrolled April 2012
- run the tan and try to do it in a PB of under 20 minutes - August 14th but was .58seconds out of my time (I have an allergy to a certain fern that is on the hill side at the 1.2km mark, that causes a bad asthma, I will achieve it this year, I'll just do the hill at the end!! LOL)
- run 15km's = achieved 19/10/2012
- 20km run = achieved 29/12/2012
Now it's time to set some new goal's!
to do a half marathon by the end of 2013
and my main goal....
To run a FULL marathon around my 40th birthday!!
